UZBEKISTAN

An untapped treasure on the Silk Road.

Samarkand the city of a thousand and one nights. The nerve center of the city is the Plaza del Registan , flanked by the three Madrassas with turquoise domes, which became the Jewel of the Timurid Empire. Samarkand is legend and it has no sea but it is blue…

A wise man once said that if Samarkand is the beauty of the earth, Bukhara is the beauty of the spirit. It is the most beautiful city on the Silk Road. Bukhara conquered us forever. It is said that there were more than 300 mosques and a hundred Madrasahs.

A tip: enjoy the sunset on the terrace in front of the Kalon Minaret.

Khiva could be considered an open-air museum. A recommendable place is the Juma Mosque with 212 carved columns, as if each one were a work of art. In the calm of a sky full of stars, the city of Khiva, as evening falls, remains in a sepulchral silence.

We were captivated by all of their Madrasas. Mosques and Palaces converted into Bazaars where Suzani bags, Ikat fabrics, jewelry of Persian influence were exhibited... A lost place in Central Asia that is a gift for the senses.
